Water, Water Everywhere – Minnesota Style

It’s fishing opener in Minnesota this weekend which means lots of moms will be left home while the men go try to catch things.  That left me thinking about water again and how we love our lakes, rivers and streams.  Here’s a few images that I think capture the spirit of this place.  Hope you enjoy!

Sunset on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis.

We put the boats in as soon as the ice clears off in the spring and leave ’em in until it’s about to freeze the next fall.  Every precious moment must be squeezed out of our summers!

The Devil’s Kettle is the hole on the upper left.  The water goes in but no one has figured out where it comes out.  Guess they even dropped some ping pong balls, dye and other objects never to be heard or seen again….
